Post Title: Executive Secretary to the Municipal Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 5 qualification in Office Management, Administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative/secretarial experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to communicate in both isiZulu and English

Recommended Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of local government procedures
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure, plan, and write reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and update the calendar for the Municipal Manager
  • Handle filing, correspondence, and document formatting
  • Manage calls and visits; relay messages and inquiries
  • Provide general secretarial services and support during meetings
