Provisioning Administration Clerk: Production Ref No: DPSP/15/16/26/03

Salary: R237 453 – R279 708 per annum, Level 05

Requirements

Applicants must have Grade 12, NQF Level 4, or an equivalent qualification. No work experience is required.

A Supply Chain Management Certificate will be an added advantage.

Required knowledge and skills include relevant Public Sector policies, legislation, regulations and Acts, Departmental policies and procedures, good interpersonal skills, organising and planning skills, written and verbal communication skills, and computer literacy.

Duties

The successful candidate will render supply chain management support services within the Defence Policy, Strategy and Planning Division.

Key duties include rendering asset management support services, demand and acquisition services, logistical support, and reporting on supply chain management matters.

Requirements

Required knowledge includes registry duties, registry practices, data capturing, computer operation, legislative framework governing the Public Service, storage and retrieval procedures, and understanding of registry work.

Duties

The successful candidate will provide registry services within the Directorate Conventional Arms Control.

Key duties include providing registry counter services, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, rendering filing and record management services, operating office machines related to registry functions, and processing documents for archiving or disposal.

Duties

The successful candidate will provide secretarial and receptionist support services to the Director.

Duties include receiving telephone calls, referring calls to relevant role players, recording appointments and events, typing documents, operating office equipment, arranging meetings and events, liaising with travel agencies, processing travel and subsistence claims, processing invoices, recording basic minutes, drafting routine correspondence and reports, filing documents, maintaining leave registers, telephone accounts and attendance registers, receiving and distributing documents, procuring standard office items, preparing documents for meetings, and maintaining manual and electronic filing systems.
