Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Formal management qualification (preferred: post-grad)
- Registered with ECSA and (SACPCMP or PMP or PrPC)
- Minimum 5 years senior management experience in water sector projects and process engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage high-level projects in water infrastructure
- Develop business and water safety plans
- Maintain service level agreements and statutory compliance
- Lead financial and HR performance within Secondary Business
- Provide engineering and operational support
Post Title: Plant Superintendent
Division: Operations
Location: Mthatha (Project-Based, Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: R504,254.40 – R594,097.80 TCTC
Closing Date: 9 May 2025
Requirements:
- Grade 12 + Operator Certificate or N3 in Water/Wastewater Treatment (with 15 years’ experience)
OR - National Diploma (6 years’ experience)
OR - BTech/4-year BSc (4 years’ experience)
OR - Professional Engineer/Natural Scientist (3 years’ service)
- Must be a registered Class V Process Controller (WTW & WWTW)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliable water supply and effluent discharge compliance
- Operate and monitor infrastructure performance to SANS 241 standards
- Manage staff, budgets, assets, and statutory obligations
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders
