Minimum Requirements

Option 1:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s / BTech degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
    • Project management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Student development or workplace training

Option 2:

  • National Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the areas above

Added Advantages:

  • Honours degree
  • Experience managing internships and SETA-related programmes
  • Experience working within a university environment
  • Experience with programme development, fundraising, graduate recruitment, and public speaking
  • Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the Ready for Work and Work Readiness programmes
  • Facilitate employability training, workshops, and boot camps for final-year students
  • Liaise with employers to arrange career events, mentorship programmes, and internships
  • Market the programme across various platforms and student events
  • Manage mentorships and employer/student partnerships
  • Monitor student performance and gather feedback from employers
  • Support project administration, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Promote UP’s student employability strategy
