Salary: R316,318.83 – R487,419.13 per annum
Paterson Grade: C4

Reports To: Chief Pilot
Requirements:
- Valid SACAA Fixed Wing Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(A))
- Minimum 600 total fixed wing flight hours
- At least 500 PIC hours on aircraft such as Cessna 182/206
- 100 hours on type (C182 and C206)
- 100 hours of STOL experience from rural bush strips
- Valid Dangerous Goods and Crew Resource Management certificates
- SACAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid Night Rating and Instrument Rating
- Valid PPC on type (C182/C206)
- Code 08 Driver’s License
- Must meet SANParks aviation insurance requirements
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office)
- Background, criminal and deception checks will be conducted
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all SANParks fixed wing aircraft and pilots
- Perform fixed wing pilot duties
- Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of aircraft
- Supervise aircraft turnaround post-flight
- Provide leadership for fixed wing and ultralight pilots in the SANParks Airwing
