Senior Administration Officer OHS Ref No: GTC2026/04

Requirements

Applicants must have Grade 12 or equivalent.

Applicants must have a National Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Hygiene, Safety Management or a relevant qualification.

Applicants must have two to three yearsโ€™ relevant functional experience in Occupational Health and Safety.

Knowledge of policy implementation, COIDA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, PFMA, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations and Basic Conditions of Employment Act is required.

Applicants must have knowledge of research procedures, design principles, techniques and government legislation.

A valid driverโ€™s licence is required.

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office is required.

Duties

The successful candidate will conduct safety audits.

Duties include compiling statistics on Occupational Health and Safety matters and implementing SHERQ activities.

The candidate will facilitate hazard and risk identification and monitor corrective measures to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.

The role includes implementing ergonomics standards, fire prevention, safety evacuation procedures, medical surveillance standards and worker compensation processes.

The successful candidate will investigate incidents, monitor non-compliance and report to relevant stakeholders.

The role includes coordinating safety training, interpreting external audit recommendations, compiling quarterly reports and reporting OHS and facilities defects to relevant managers.

Senior Labour Relations Officer Ref No: GTC2026/05

Requirements

Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate, Level 4 or equivalent.

Applicants must have a Degree or Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Labour Relations, Employment Relations, Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants must have at least three yearsโ€™ experience in Labour Relations, Human Resource Management or a related field.

Computer literacy and a valid driverโ€™s licence are required.

Applicants must have good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills.

Requirements

Applicants must have an appropriate Bachelorโ€™s Degree or National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Psychology, Social Work majoring in Psychology or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants must have one to two yearsโ€™ working experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment.

Applicants must know the Employee Health and Wellness Integrated Strategic Framework in the Public Service.

Applicants must have sound knowledge of the four EHW pillars, counselling, psychoeducation and trauma debriefing.

Registration with a relevant professional body will serve as an added advantage.

Duties include planning, coordinating and implementing health and wellness interventions.

The candidate will evaluate the impact of employee health and wellness programmes and provide education and awareness on wellness-related issues.

The role includes advising management and staff on EH&W matters, monitoring and evaluating EH&W, benchmarking wellness practices and promoting health awareness events.

The successful candidate will conduct counselling, psychoeducation and trauma debriefing.

The role includes managing wellness centre activities, providing first aid, administering injury on duty, managing cases, keeping records and compiling EH&W reports and submissions.

Transport Officer Ref No: GTC2026/07

Requirements

The role includes receiving and certifying invoices for monthly payments.

The successful candidate will maintain records of driverโ€™s licences, trip authorisations and fines.

The candidate will ensure service maintenance of vehicles, redirect traffic fines and conduct pre- and post-inspections of vehicles.

The role includes quarterly inspections of subsidised vehicles, processing new applications and ensuring compliance with transport policies and processes.

Supply Chain and Asset Administration Clerk Ref No: GTC2026/08

Requirements

Duties

The successful candidate will facilitate and coordinate bookings for travel, accommodation or conferences.

Duties include administering office correspondence, documents and reports.

The candidate will execute LOGIS functions relating to procurement of goods and services.

The role includes capturing invoice payments on LOGIS, BAS or SAGE and approving calls on Archibus.

The successful candidate will assist with ordering materials and equipment, administering requisition documents and reports, and submitting invoices for payment.

The candidate will update commitment registers, reconcile accounts monthly and assist with financial statement inputs.

The role includes performing transit duties and other related tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
