Post Title: PL1 Lecturer – Engineering Studies
Salary Notch: R270 498.00 per annum
Campus: Mount Frere
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- A recognised Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1-year teaching experience in the TVET sector
- Competency in the following subjects:
- Engineering Systems L2
- Engineering Practice & Maintenance L3
- Professional Engineering Practice L4
- Teaching qualification (advantageous)
- SACE Certificate (advantageous)
- Assessor and Moderator certificates (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lessons
- Set up and manage Learning Management System (LMS)
- Develop and share subject guidelines with staff and students
- Oversee invigilation and marking
- Manage student results and attend to academic concerns
