Post Title: Financial Officer Payroll
- Salary Level: T10
- Salary Scale: R294 744 – R382 560 per annum
Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Accounting
- Valid driver’s licence
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications)
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Strong administrative skills
- Knowledge of statutory deductions (e.g. SARS, Department of Labour, Bargaining Council)
- Knowledge of earnings and deductions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Core Responsibilities
- Processing payroll parameters including statutory deductions, rates of pay, and transfers
- Reconciling monthly payroll deductions with billing schedules
- Capturing and updating payroll data for employees
- Handling medical aid contributions and resolving discrepancies
- Managing employee benefits, deductions, and allowances
- Preparing payroll reports and maintaining payroll records
- Processing salary payments, including overtime, allowances, and deductions
- Administering pension, insurance, and garnishee orders
- Assisting with payroll compliance and reporting to relevant authorities
- Updating payroll files and ensuring accurate record keeping
- Supporting query resolution and providing payroll-related assistance
