Ship Surveyor: Deck – Durban (Ref: SAMSA-43)
Requirements:
- Chief Mate STCW II/2
- 30 months sea-service on 1600GT+ ships on unlimited voyages
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport
- Medically fit (Seafarer Medicals)
Preferred:
- Master (STCW II/2) qualification
- STCW ancillary courses
- Management-level maritime experience (2–3 years)
Ship Surveyor: Engine – Durban (Ref: SAMSA-45 & SAMSA-47)
(3 Positions in Total)
Requirements:
- Second Engineer Officer (STCW III/2) or Chief Engineer >3000kW (STCW III/2)
- 36+ months sea-service on 3000kW+ ships
- Driver’s License, Medical Fitness (Seafarer), and own transport
Preferred:
- Management maritime experience (2–3 years)
- Valid passport
- Ability to travel
Ship Surveyor: Engine – Richards Bay (Ref: SAMSA-46)
Requirements:
- Same as Durban-based Engine role above
