Post Title: Research Support Assistant x2 – Plant Improvement (Three-Year Fixed-Term Contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic research tasks in both field and laboratory settings under supervision.
- Help with planting, fertilizing, weeding, irrigating, and harvesting of field trials.
- Conduct manual data capturing and provide regular feedback to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with SHE/OHS regulations and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / Matric.
- Prior experience in a fruit farming environment will be advantageous.
- Good literacy skills (reading and writing).
- Physically fit and able to conduct field and laboratory tasks.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
