1. Fund Programme Specialist: JET-IP Office

  • Location: Gauteng
  • Contract Type: Fixed Term (24 months)
  • IDC Job Grade: P-Band

Job Purpose

The Fund Programme Specialist will focus on sourcing funding, particularly Green funding, to develop financing programs and manage funding mechanisms like grants for the JET-IP NEV and GH office. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep financial expertise in sectors across South Africa and Africa.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Honours Degree in a relevant commercial or technical field (MBA or Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years in financial services, development finance institutions, venture capital, or early-stage investments. Experience in appraising, negotiating, and closing financial transactions is essential.
  • Special Skills: Strong relationships with clients, private investors, and banks, with expertise in development finance and the Just Energy Transition.

2. Senior Project Manager – Industrial Zone Programme (IZP)

  • Location: Limpopo
  • Contract Type: Fixed Term (36 months)
  • IDC Job Grade: M-Band

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure as part of the Industrial Zone Programme. This leadership role involves managing projects with multiple stakeholders, requiring high-level organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in managing municipal infrastructure design and construction projects.
  • Skills: Exceptional planning and organizational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
