Assistant Finance Administrator

- Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting.
- At least 1 year of experience in an Accounting or Finance environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting systems.
- Public sector experience will be an advantage.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support stakeholders in discretionary grants and administration payments.
- Verify payment claims and upload invoices on Sage X3.
- Capture new vendors and update banking details.
- Prepare finance payment requisitions and creditors reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate finance records and support audits.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and assist in asset management.
- Update commitment registers and support knowledge sharing among the team.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong administrative and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation abilities.
- Good understanding of financial management, accounting software, GRAP, and relevant legislation.
