Post Title: Electrician
Purpose:
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring and industrial machinery. Ensures regulatory compliance and technical functionality across electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Standard 10) / N3 or equivalent
- 3–5 years relevant post-trade experience
- Wireman’s License
- Advantageous: Experience with PLCs
- Must be computer literate
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime
- Documented experience in the field
Main Duties Include:
- Perform inspections as per maintenance plan
- Diagnose and repair equipment
- Install and test electrical circuitry and components
- Maintain compliance with SHE regulations
- Operate workshop tools and test emergency systems
- Complete technical documentation
Post Title: Mechanical Technician
Purpose:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, conduct diagnostics, and ensure functionality of stage and facility machinery.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Completed apprenticeship as Fitter & Turner
- 4–6 years relevant experience
- Welding skills required
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
- Ability to communicate in English, Afrikaans, and/or IsiXhosa
- Advantageous: Experience operating stage machinery
Main Duties Include:
- Conduct maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Fabricate or modify parts
- Ensure compliance with safety legislation
- Maintain workshop equipment
- Operate stage machinery
- Perform administrative tasks
