Post Title: Manager: Environmental Impact Management

Department: Environmental Resources and Waste Management
Division: Compliance and Strategic Planning
Salary: R671,064 – R920,592 per annum (plus benefits)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Management or Life/Natural Sciences (NQF Level 7)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • 3–8 years’ experience in a related field
  • Extensive computer literacy (Word & Excel)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage environmental impact management functions and ensure legislative compliance
  • Maintain strategic relationships at national and provincial levels
  • Prepare budgets, implement governance strategies, and lead divisional teams

Post Title: Chief Accountant: Reconciliation

Reference Number: FINA20489
Department: Finance
Salary: R529,560 – R726,468 per annum (plus benefits)

Requirements:

  • BCom Degree in Financial Management or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience
  • Understanding of general ledger reconciliation and OPCA processes

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile all suspense/receivable/payable accounts
  • Manage OPCA reporting requirements and liaise with key stakeholders
  • Support external audit processes and financial compliance

Post Title: Manager: Monthly & Annual Financial Reporting

Reference Number: FINA20488
Department: Finance
Salary: R671,064 – R920,592 per annum (plus benefits)

Requirements:

  • BCom Degree in Accounting (NQF Level 7)
  • SAICA articles completed; MFMA Certification is an advantage
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Proficiency in Caseware and valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities:

  • Compile financial statements and statistical returns
  • Manage year-end procedures and financial returns to Treasury
  • Ensure financial compliance and advise departments on mSCOA requirements

Post Title: Senior Manager: Financial Reporting

Reference Number: FINA20487
Department: Finance
Salary: R850,440 – R1,166,640 per annum (plus benefits)

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree in Accounting/CTA (NQF Level 8)
  • Completion of SAICA articles; CA(SA) preferred
  • MFMA Certification is an advantage
  • 6–8 years’ experience in municipal financial reporting
  • Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities:

  • Manage statutory financial reporting and KPI packs
  • Oversee ledger budgeting and audit processes
  • Coordinate year-end closures and reporting to National Treasury
