Duties
The successful candidate will coordinate, review, analyse and quality assure financial information for planning purposes.
Duties include overseeing financial reporting for the College and supporting the Deputy Principal: Finance with the compilation of Annual Financial Statements and monthly reports.
The candidate will review monthly reconciliations and perform financial reporting duties to internal and external parties.
The successful candidate will support the Deputy Principal: Finance with the compilation of quarterly reports to Council.
The candidate will monitor internal controls in the Finance Division and ensure adherence to controls throughout the College.
Additional duties include liaising with internal and external auditors, providing access to documentation, supporting the management of units within the Finance Department, ensuring proper accounting records and daily accounting discipline among staff.
The candidate will ensure effective supervision of staff for efficient financial accounting services and develop, implement and monitor work systems and processes for effective functioning.

Duties
The successful candidate will oversee Human Resource Management and Administration services.
Duties include rendering conditions of service such as leave, housing, medical aid, injury on duty, long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pensions, transfers and allowances.
The candidate will oversee recruitment and selection processes, including adverts, shortlisting, interviews, security vetting, competency testing, reference checks and verification of qualifications.
The successful candidate will manage HR personnel records.
The candidate will oversee Human Resource Development services, including bursary administration, internships, Work Integrated Learning, induction and training interventions.
Additional duties include developing and implementing the Workplace Skills Plan, administering PMDS and IQMS, coordinating organisational development, reviewing the organisational structure, developing job descriptions and coordinating job evaluations.
The candidate will coordinate work-study, business process re-engineering, change management and organisational transformation services.
The successful candidate will coordinate Human Resource Planning and Employment Equity services, including HR plans, EE plans, EE data and implementation monitoring.
The candidate will provide Employee Health and Wellness services, including wellness programmes, HIV, AIDS, STI and TB services, health productivity programmes, health and safety programmes and sport activities that encourage physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
The candidate will develop and implement HR policies and manuals and manage human, financial and other resources of the unit.
The role also includes labour relations management by providing advisory services on employee relations policies, procedures, strategies, agreements and legislation.
The successful candidate will conduct daily employee relations operations, including disciplinary hearings, grievances, absenteeism, performance improvement and collective bargaining.
The candidate will represent the College in dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration and negotiation.
