Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or similar
  • 5–7 years’ experience in Data Analytics; 2–3 years at specialist level
  • OR Senior Certificate + 10 years’ experience in Data Analytics

Key Skills:

  • Advanced SQL, Python or R, Power BI, C#, SSIS, SSAS
  • GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer)
  • Data modelling, ETL, visualisation, and automation
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture
  • Advantageous: experience with government data systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test medium to complex data analytics solutions
  • Analyse trends, generate reports, maintain data pipelines
  • Apply statistical models, automation tools, and business intelligence techniques
  • Ensure data compliance, integrity, and system optimisation

Minimum Requirements:

  • Honours / Postgrad Diploma (NQF 8) in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science + 10–12 years in innovation/design/technology, with 3–4 years at specialist level
  • OR Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) + 15 years’ experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead innovation through solution design, prototyping, and piloting
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to solve complex strategic problems
  • Develop foresight reports, business cases, and modernisation roadmaps
  • Manage prototype governance and track implementation impact
  • Analyse complex systems and guide organisational modernisation strategies
