Post Title: General Worker X3

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (3 years, ending March 2028)
Salary Range: R136,583.09 – R182,758.24 per annum
Accommodation: Own accommodation required (no official housing provided)
Reports To: Duty Manager


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NCV Level 4 certificate
  • Experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or related fields (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and storeroom tasks
  • Physically fit (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
  • Attention to detail and responsibility
  • Basic understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • First Aid knowledge (advantageous)
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties (rubbish removal, ablution cleaning, office upkeep)
  • Assist with minor maintenance (buildings, roads, water systems)
  • Maintain terrain and gardens (mowing, landscaping)
  • Record/report maintenance issues
  • Clean and care for tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Support with ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety standards
