1. Manager: Risk and Compliance

Reference Number: 02/05/2025
Salary Scale: R 679 962 – R 793 833 (Total Cost-to-Company)
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion NLSA’s risk management and compliance processes.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Submit reports on compliance, audit outcomes, and performance.
  • Support policy development for internal controls and audit findings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 in Risk, Compliance, Internal Auditing, Finance, Law, or Governance.
  • Five years’ risk and compliance experience (three years in middle management).
  • Deep knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and relevant legislative frameworks.

Desirable Attributes:

  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving ability.

2. Director: Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

Salary Scale: R1 028 712 – R1 201 528 (Total Cost-to-Company)
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ICT strategy aligned with NLSA’s corporate and operational goals.
  • Oversee IT governance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Manage systems development and enterprise IT projects.
  • Engage with senior leadership and ensure ICT compliance with PFMA and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 8 postgraduate qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • 8 years of ICT experience, with 5 years in ICT management.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF, PMBOK, ITIL, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven experience in governance, systems architecture, and IT leadership.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree (NQF 9).
  • Industry certifications like PMP, Prince II, CBAP.
