Post Title: Payroll Manager (Ref: JW397/2025)

Salary: R522 576 Basic Salary per annum

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualification: National Diploma in Payroll (NQF 5), or HR/Accounting (NQF 6).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR Payroll Administration.
    • At least 1 year experience with SAP Payroll and Database Management.
    • At least 1 year of supervising payroll staff.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll input, processing, and accurate payment of employee salaries.
  • Verify bank and salary changes, unlock SAP transactions, and upload third-party deduction schedules.
  • Manage salary variances, overtime, final payments, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Upload EFT and payroll files via Fihrst Connect Scheduler.
  • Address payroll-related queries and ensure timely responses.
  • Liaise with Finance, SARS, pension funds, and medical aid providers regarding payroll submissions and compliance.
  • Ensure UIF applications and special payments (e.g., leave encashments) are processed correctly.
  • Coordinate long service awards and termination processes.
  • Train new HR administrators on SAP HR/PY and ensure adherence to HR policies and legislative compliance.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records—manual and electronic.
