Post Title: Compliance Analyst
The successful candidate will work within the Office of the Legal and Compliance Manager: Corporate Services and will support compliance monitoring, risk management, and governance processes.
Purpose of the Role
Assist the organisation in complying with laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards by monitoring risks, reviewing processes, analysing data, and supporting the development of compliance controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory monitoring and interpretation
- Conducting compliance reviews and ongoing monitoring
- Identifying and reporting compliance risks
- Supporting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Managing incidents and breaches
- Providing compliance training and awareness
- Supporting audit and assurance processes
Requirements
- 4-year Degree (NQF Level 7) in Management Sciences, Legal, Compliance or related field
- 3 to 4 years relevant work experience
- Membership with the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa
- Compliance Practitioner certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Pension Fund legislation in South Africa
- Knowledge of POPIA and PFMA
- Understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience in drafting and reviewing policies
- Strong communication skills
