Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 11 or N2 level technical certificate (Proficiency Certificate preferred)
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
- Valid Code C1 driver’s license (PrDP advantageous)
- Physically fit and able-bodied
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, supervise, and record electrical distribution tasks
- Detect, isolate, and repair faults in the distribution network
- Conduct routine and planned maintenance on electrical infrastructure
- Operate vehicles with lifting equipment and perform limited low-voltage switching
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality workmanship, and municipal standards
- Maintain accurate reports and perform on-site inspections
Special Conditions:
- Work in adverse weather and on uneven terrain
- Standby duties and occasional unsupervised work required
- Must read and interpret electrical line diagrams
