Salary: R267,576 – R347,388 per annum (T9)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 11 or N2 level technical certificate (Proficiency Certificate preferred)
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience
  • Valid Code C1 driver’s license (PrDP advantageous)
  • Physically fit and able-bodied

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute, supervise, and record electrical distribution tasks
  • Detect, isolate, and repair faults in the distribution network
  • Conduct routine and planned maintenance on electrical infrastructure
  • Operate vehicles with lifting equipment and perform limited low-voltage switching
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality workmanship, and municipal standards
  • Maintain accurate reports and perform on-site inspections

Special Conditions:

  • Work in adverse weather and on uneven terrain
  • Standby duties and occasional unsupervised work required
  • Must read and interpret electrical line diagrams
