Requirements

  • NQF Level 7 qualification (SAQA-recognised).
  • 5 years at middle/senior managerial level.

  • High-level strategic leadership, planning, people management, stakeholder coordination, and financial governance (PFMA) skills.

Duties

  • Lead and coordinate ECD service delivery across the province.
  • Manage Strategic Plan, APP and Operational Plan implementation.
  • Oversee compliance with Children’s Act 38 of 2005, National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and applicable ECD legislation.
  • Ensure financial management of ECD transfers; monitor partial-care registers and LMS uploads.
  • Drive ECD capacity building, quarterly district reviews and service expansion; lead inter-sectoral coordination.
