Faculty: Engineering & The Built Environment
Employment Type: 6-Year Contract (SSAUF Phase 10)

Requirements:

  • Master’s in Architecture (70% average or higher)
  • South African citizen, 40 years or younger, from designated groups
  • Commitment to doctoral studies

Additional Skills:

  • 2 years postgraduate experience
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to teach, research, and engage in community projects

Duties:

  • Develop and deliver undergraduate learning
  • Engage in teaching, research, and departmental administration
  • Participate in mentorship and academic development programs

Division: Finance – Management Accounting

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar (NQF 7)
  • 3–5 years’ asset management experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS, asset management, and financial systems

Duties:

  • Implement and maintain asset strategy
  • Reconcile and update asset registers
  • Manage service level agreements with insurers
  • Produce asset reports for stakeholders

Post Title: Institutional Planning Officer

Division: Institutional Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree (NQF 8)
  • 5–8 years’ strategic/operational planning experience
  • Proficiency in KPI frameworks and DHET reporting

Duties:

  • Develop strategic and operational planning frameworks
  • Facilitate alignment of institutional and faculty plans
  • Draft DHET reports and manage institutional submissions
  • Collaborate on monitoring and evaluation initiatives
