Assistant Director: Designated Groups and Priority Sectors

Ref No: ASD: DG&PS
Salary: R468 459 per annum

Requirements

Applicants must have an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in fields such as Public Administration, Public Management, Business Management, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Psychology, Gender Studies or Youth Studies.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of designated groups (Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities) is required.

Additional advantages include:

  • Strong computer literacy

Key competencies include communication, data analysis, report writing, project management, stakeholder relations, planning and organising.

Duties

  • Develop and monitor performance indicators for designated groups
  • Track and report on participation of women, youth and persons with disabilities
  • Collect and analyse data to measure departmental performance
  • Support midterm and end-of-term performance assessments
  • Coordinate stakeholder reporting sessions
  • Develop corrective action plans
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations and stakeholder engagements

Officer: Intergovernmental Relations

Ref No: OIGR
Salary: R397 116 per annum
Centre: Pretoria

Requirements

Applicants must have a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Political Science or Development Studies. A degree (NQF Level 7) will be an added advantage.

A minimum of 1 year experience in Intergovernmental Relations, Public Sector Coordination or Policy Support is required.

Duties

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Intergovernmental Relations structures

  • Collect and consolidate data on MSME support initiatives
  • Maintain records for reporting and audit purposes
  • Support stakeholder engagements, workshops and outreach programmes
  • Handle meeting logistics, minutes, agendas and documentation
