Requirements
Applicants must have Grade 12 at NQF Level 4 or an equivalent qualification.

Duties
The successful candidate will administer injury and disease cases sustained by Defence Act Personnel and Public Service Act Personnel while on duty.
Duties include administration of personnel losses, funerals and Group Life Insurance Scheme matters.
The candidate will administer and approve inclusion or re-inclusion of dependants of Defence Act Personnel for medical privileges.
The role includes attending meetings when required and inspecting all registers maintained by clerks.
The successful candidate will compile and update post profiles and duty sheets for all post incumbents in the Medical Section.
The candidate will assess and supervise subordinate performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, recognise good performance and manage poor performance through relevant development courses.
The role includes assisting with career management by supporting and encouraging subordinates to seek development and promotion opportunities.
The successful candidate will nominate Medical Section staff for outstanding courses.
The candidate will personally investigate critical enquiries and draft replies for signature by higher authority.
The role includes completing bi-annual performance assessments for subordinates and related reports.

Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 at NQF Level 4 or an equivalent qualification with Accounting or Mathematics as subjects.

Basic knowledge of contract management and supply chain management processes is required.
Applicants must have sound knowledge and understanding of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, National Treasury practice notes, DORA, PSA, PPPFA and the Financial Manual.
Knowledge of financial operating systems such as FMS, PERSOL, PERSAL, BAS and LOGIS is required.
Duties
The successful candidates will strictly apply policies, prescripts and regulations.
Duties include performing cashier duties by paying out cash advances.
The candidates will receive state money into the Paymaster General Account.
The role includes receiving cash from clients and verifying correctness according to the purpose of payment.
The successful candidates will issue official receipts and ensure accurate allocation of revenue.
The candidates will prepare and capture deposits on FMS and securely dispatch deposits to the bank.
The role includes safekeeping and issuing face value documents.
The successful candidates will archive accounting documents and safeguard payment and other accounting documents for audit purposes.
The candidates will use the Financial Management System to record accounting transactions and make enquiries.
The role includes administering claims on the Central Advance System and capturing related accounting transactions on FMS.
The successful candidates will confirm Telkom accounts and assist with general administration and accounting functions at the FASC.
The candidates will scrutinise, verify, register and couple medical and supplier invoices for payment.
