Provincial Co-ordinator Ref: National Dialogue

Job Purpose

The Provincial Co-ordinator will lead, coordinate and monitor programme implementation across the Northern Cape.

The role ensures that provincial activities are aligned with national priorities, strengthens stakeholder relations and manages communication, reporting and visibility efforts to achieve measurable impact.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Public Administration, Development Studies, Communications, Social Sciences or a related field.

Applicants must have at least three yearsโ€™ experience in programme coordination, communications or stakeholder engagement, preferably within government, NGO or development sectors.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience in managing communications and media relations at provincial or project level.

Applicants must have proven experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-sector partners.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will lead and oversee the roll-out of national or regional programmes within the province.

Duties include developing and monitoring provincial implementation plans and ensuring alignment with timelines and outcomes.

The candidate will coordinate local delivery through district officials, implementing partners and community-based organisations.

The role includes facilitating workshops, training and community engagements to strengthen programme ownership.

The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with government departments, municipalities, traditional leadership, civil society and private sector stakeholders.

The candidate will represent the programme in provincial stakeholder platforms and serve as a liaison between the national office, implementing partners and provincial counterparts.

Additional duties include developing and implementing a provincial communication plan, preparing media updates, documenting success stories and ensuring consistent branding.

The candidate will also collect and analyse programme data, prepare reports, manage budgets, oversee logistics and supervise district coordinators and support staff.

Human Resources Administrator

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Administrator will render a fully functional human resource management support service and payroll support for the National Dialogue.

The role supports the optimum utilisation of National Dialogue human resources.

Requirements

Applicants must have a National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Human Resources Management, Business Management or a related remuneration qualification.

Applicants must have two years or more experience in a fully functional HR generalist role.

Applicants must have knowledge of South African labour laws, HR compliance, tax laws, OHS, POPIA and human resources practices.

Computer literacy in MS Office and communication skills are required.

Practical experience with HR systems is required.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will provide monthly payroll input to the HR Officer for SAGE VIP Premier Payroll and ESS administration.

Duties include supporting ESS administration, SAGE VIP Premier administration and resolving payroll queries.

The candidate will update employee personal and payroll data, manage leave and provide monthly leave reconciliations.

The role includes providing input into HR plans, quarterly reports, employment equity reports and skills development reports.

The successful candidate will conduct sample audits of employee files and HR databases, provide HR administration support and manage HR documents and filing.

The candidate will support recruitment processes, maintain recruitment files, keep records of job profiles and support training and development activities.

The role includes assisting with Employment Equity, Workplace Skills Plan, Annual Training Report, performance management and HR meeting secretariat support.

Supply Chain Management Officer

Post: Supply Chain Management Officer
Remuneration: R500 287.06 per annum, all-inclusive package

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Management Officer will coordinate and execute supply chain management and procurement activities for the National Dialogue.

The role includes sourcing, purchasing, contract administration, supplier liaison and contract monitoring, while ensuring compliance with NEDLAC supply chain management policies and applicable legislation.

Requirements

Applicants must have a National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Accounting, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.

Applicants must have at least five yearsโ€™ experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement.

Applicants must have three yearsโ€™ experience working in Supply Chain Management and Procurement within the public sector.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience in applying and ensuring compliance with the PFMA, PPPFA, B-BBEE legislation, Treasury Regulations and other applicable SCM legislation and prescripts.

Applicants must have technical skills in SAGE Accounting System, Microsoft Office and project management software.

Knowledge of project management methodologies is required.

Applicants must have strong organisational, analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the end-to-end bidding and quotation process.

Duties include ensuring compliance with SCM policies, legislation, supplier engagement, bid evaluation support and procurement administration.

The candidate will maintain an accurate and compliant supplier database and verify regulatory requirements.

The role includes supporting inventory, consumables and logistics management processes.

The successful candidate will monitor SCM processes, vendor performance, compliance, risks and corrective actions.

The candidate will administer contracts and contract records, support supplier performance monitoring and maintain contract management processes.

Additional duties include document management, reporting, invoice processing, records maintenance and backup activities.

The role includes identifying procurement and contract risks, consulting with the National Dialogue Secretarial Project Lead and maintaining a master decision register.

Social Media Coordinator

Job Purpose

The Social Media Coordinator will coordinate and implement the National Dialogueโ€™s social media and digital communications activities.

The role includes content development, digital campaign implementation, community engagement, platform management, multimedia production and social media monitoring.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelorโ€™s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Communications, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Digital Media or a related field.

Applicants must have at least three yearsโ€™ experience in social media management, digital communications or content creation.

Applicants must have experience managing organisational social media platforms across multiple digital channels.

Experience in planning and implementing digital communication campaigns is required.

Applicants must have experience producing digital content, including copywriting, photography, graphic design and short-form video.

Experience in government, the public sector, civil society or development programmes will be an added advantage.

Technical and Soft Skills

Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience using social media management and scheduling platforms is required.

Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is required.

Applicants must have basic photography, videography and video editing skills.

Knowledge of digital analytics tools and social media performance reporting is required.

Applicants must have excellent writing, editing, proofreading, planning, time management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will manage the National Dialogueโ€™s social media platforms by planning, creating, scheduling and publishing content across X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and other approved platforms.

Duties include developing written, photographic, graphic and short-form video content to promote public awareness and citizen participation.

The candidate will support integrated digital campaigns by producing platform-specific content, coordinating campaign schedules and monitoring performance.

The role includes monitoring online conversations, responding to public enquiries and escalating reputational risks or sensitive issues according to approved communication protocols.

The successful candidate will coordinate real-time digital coverage of events, stakeholder engagements, media briefings and community activities.

The candidate will monitor performance, analyse engagement and prepare reports with metrics, trends, insights and recommendations.

Additional duties include managing digital assets, supporting content planning and liaising with internal teams, service providers, content creators and stakeholders.
