Requirements
Applicants must have a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Political Science, Public Management and Governance, Legal Studies, Public Administration or a relevant qualification at NQF Level 6 or 7.
Applicants must have at least five years’ experience, of which three years should be at Assistant Director or junior management level in a parliamentary and governance environment.
A valid driver’s licence is required. An LLB qualification will serve as an added advantage.

Duties
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Secretary-General on committee programmes.
Duties include serving as a central point of contact between OCJ leadership, the Ministry and Parliament, tracking parliamentary debates, committee meetings and parliamentary questions related to the OCJ and Judiciary.
The candidate will analyse, coordinate, draft and facilitate responses to Parliamentary questions, prepare briefings, presentations and reports for Parliamentary Committee meetings, coordinate attendance at parliamentary meetings and provide secretariat support to OCJ governance structures.
Additional duties include conducting research on governance best practices, advising management on parliamentary procedures and policy matters, maintaining records of parliamentary questions and reports, managing the sub-directorate, supporting good governance practices and performing human resource and administrative functions.

Duties
The successful candidate will render secretarial support to the Judiciary.
Duties include managing the Judge’s diary, typing and filing judgments, ensuring judgments and draft orders are sent for scanning and uploading to CaseLines, Court Online and the library.
The candidate will receive and screen visitors, record incoming and outgoing documents, order stationery, support civil, criminal and review matters, collect files, update registers and notify relevant offices when judgments have been handed down.
Additional duties include preparing court rolls, distributing court documents, ensuring Heads of Arguments are available to the Judge, assisting in court, administering oaths where required, preparing bench books, supporting court proceedings, arranging travel and accommodation, submitting claims and maintaining updates in the Judge’s library.

Duties
The successful candidate will supervise security operations and ensure compliance with security procedures.
Duties include authorising equipment, documents and stores entering or leaving the building, inspecting and reporting non-functioning security measures such as X-ray machines, walk-through metal detectors, security lights, CCTV and biometrics.
The candidate will monitor occurrence books and registers, provide support during emergencies, monitor access control, identify risks and threats, provide information to investigating officers, conduct preliminary incident investigations and report faulty equipment or systems.
Additional duties include monitoring alarms, supervising control room activities, updating incident registers, determining rosters and shift schedules, controlling leave, administering key control systems, managing performance, identifying training needs, managing outsourced security services and compiling monthly security and OHS reports.
