Requirements
Applicants must have a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification. No work experience is required.
Candidates must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
The following generic competencies are required:
Quality of work, initiative, interpersonal relations, planning and execution, reliability, communication skills, and teamwork.
Technical competencies include in-depth knowledge of the Registry Procedure Manual, operating high-volume copy and scanning equipment, intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Google Suite, and knowledge of courier services.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing documents for scanning in line with standard operating procedures.
Key duties include scanning, indexing and exporting documents to the electronic record management system. The candidate will also establish and maintain quality controls to ensure accurate digitised documents.
The post also involves re-assembling and organising documents back to their original state after scanning for physical filing, as well as assisting with registry services in the Department.
