Duties

The successful candidate will coordinate and review the processing of requisitions for goods and services. This includes receiving requisitions, processing them, coordinating orders, and placing service or goods orders where needed.

The role also includes coordinating the safekeeping and distribution of goods, receiving and checking goods, capturing goods on procurement systems, returning damaged or incorrect items, and issuing goods as required. The candidate will also help prepare and collate payment documents.

Another important part of the role is stock control. This includes monitoring inventory, conducting stocktaking, comparing counted stock with official records, identifying outdated or obsolete stock, and coordinating stock disposal.

The successful candidate will also supervise staff in the logistics and disposal section, allocate duties, manage quality control, advise team members, manage performance and discipline, and support staff development.
