Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Qualification in Linguistics or equivalent (NQF 6)
- Minimum: English (spoken & written)
- Ability to interpret at least one official SA language (two is an advantage)
Competencies: Knowledge of Bargaining Council/CCMA processes and labour legislation.
Key Duties: Accurate verbal interpretation during PHSDSBC conciliation and arbitration hearings; other designated admin functions.
2) Part-Time Panellist (Operational/Level A)

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Labour Law/Labour Relations Management degree (NQF 8) or LLB
- Accredited CCMA commissioner
- At least 6 years’ experience in IR, Labour Law, or conducting conciliations, arbitrations & facilitations
Competencies: Labour law, ADR, conciliation, mediation, facilitation, arbitration, interpretation/application of statutes, communication, problem-solving.
Key Duties: Conduct conciliation, arbitration, con-arbs; complete case documentation; process settlements, rulings & awards; conduct complex mediations/conciliations where requested.
3) Part-Time Resident Panellist
Reference: 24/10/2025/OGS/PTRP/003
Daily Fee: R6 211.00 (expected 3 days/week)
Centre: Gauteng (Centurion)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- LLB (NQF 8); LLM in Labour Law (NQF 9) advantageous
- Accredited senior CCMA commissioner
- 15+ years in IR, Labour Law, or complex conciliations, arbitrations & facilitations (preferably with experience vetting awards/rulings/outcomes)
Competencies: Labour law, ADR, conciliation, mediation, facilitation, arbitration, vetting of awards & rulings, statutory interpretation, communication, problem-solving.
Key Duties:
- Screen referrals; issue rulings (jurisdiction, variation, rescission)
- Ensure quality & consistency of rulings/awards nationally; vet awards & rulings
- Analyse case law; compile statistics & reports; legal advisory; develop/implement policies
- Issue conciliation outcome certificates on request; monitor/evaluate panellists; investigate conduct complaints; support professional development; contribute articles for public awareness
4) Part-Time Senior Panellist

- R3 968.64 for non-senior work
- R5 625.82 for senior panellist work

- 10+ years in IR, Labour Law, or complex conciliations, arbitration & facilitation
Competencies: Labour law, ADR, conciliation, mediation, facilitation, arbitration, statutory interpretation, strong writing/listening/communication, negotiation & influence.
Key Duties: Conduct complex conciliations, arbitrations & con-arbs; complete case documentation; process settlements, rulings & awards; lead complex mediations as required.
