1. Heavy Duty Driver (x2 Posts)

Division: Operations – Nahoon Dam

Requirements
- Grade 12
- 3 years’ experience as a heavy-duty driver/operator
- Code C/EC1/EC Licence (old Code 10/11/14) with valid PDP
- Valid TLB/digger-loader certificate, plus training in High-Up, forklift/truck-mounted crane, and mini excavator
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (TLB, excavators, cranes) for water infrastructure projects
- Transport dangerous goods, including chlorine and construction materials
- Dig and refill trenches for pipelines and reservoirs
- Maintain and repair fences, trenches, and lifting equipment
- Perform standby and overtime duties as required
2. Institutional Social Development Facilitator

- 3 years’ post-graduate experience in social facilitation on infrastructure projects (urban & rural)

Responsibilities
- Promote ISD function on projects and programmes
- Develop ISD strategies, policies, and stakeholder engagement plans
- Manage institutional/social conflicts affecting projects
- Conduct research into ISD best practices
- Provide regular reports to senior management
3. Maintenance Foreman

Requirements
- Qualified Artisan (Electrical/Millwright) with Trade Test
- 5 years’ post-trade maintenance experience in production environment (preferably water/wastewater treatment)
- Knowledge of OHS Act and maintenance systems
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance work
- Manage contractors and maintenance budgets
- Ensure plant efficiency through timely repairs and spares management
- Train staff in safety compliance
- Oversee performance reviews of maintenance teams
4. Sampling Officer

Salary: R319,314.24 per annum (Permanent)
Requirements
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Water Care, or Quality Management
- 3 years’ experience in water sampling procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct water sampling in compliance with SANS 241 standards
- Perform field analyses (chlorine, turbidity, pH)
- Maintain sampling schedules and records for Blue/Green Drop compliance
- Assist with laboratory duties and vehicle checks
5. Senior Buyer

Requirements
- National Diploma in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Public Procurement (BCom preferred)
- 5 years’ SCM experience (3 years in procurement, tenders, and technical projects; 2 years in public sector)
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
Responsibilities
- Draft and evaluate tender documents
- Facilitate bid committees and procurement compliance
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate cost efficiencies
- Supervise subordinates and report on procurement performance
- Ensure SCM processes comply with BBBEE and PPPFA regulations
