Centre: Provincial Office, Kimberley (Northern Cape)
Salary: R896 436 per annum (all-inclusive package)

Requirements:

  • 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF 6) in Public Administration/Business Administration/Development Studies/Social Sciences.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • 5 years’ experience: at least 3 years functional in Labour Activation/Employment Programmes/Enterprise Development/Entrepreneurial; plus 2 years at managerial level.
  • Knowledge: PFMA, UIF Acts, labour legislation, Project Management, Batho Pele, Skills Development Act.
  • Skills: Planning & organising, people & conflict management, analysis, problem-solving, strategic thinking, facilitation, coordination, contract & event management, computer literacy.

Duties:

  • Manage & monitor funded Labour Activation projects.
  • Engage stakeholders to deliver programmes for UIF beneficiaries.
  • Identify province-specific interventions for funding.
  • Lead advocacy to build awareness (with Communications Unit & Province Office).
  • Manage human, financial and asset resources.
