Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 certificate
  • Completion of the Ranger Fitness Selection Program
  • Basic Field Ranger Training (advantageous)
  • Experience in conservation or security/access control (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with conservation legislation
  • Willingness to undergo a medical examination

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce security protocols, monitor access control, and protect park property
  • Check credentials of all individuals entering the park
  • Resolve minor visitor conflicts and provide guest information
  • Control traffic and direct guests within the park
  • Maintain cleanliness around gate areas and perform light maintenance tasks
  • Record entry and exit of employees and guests

Additional Information:

  • Official accommodation will be provided inside the park
  • Successful candidates must live inside the park
