Post Title: Coordinator: Dispute Resolution (X3)
Purpose of the Role:
To conduct reviews of standard disputed tax assessments or decisions and ensure the correct application of legislation, contributing to the ultimate resolution of tax disputes.
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: National Diploma in Auditing, Accounting, or Taxation
- Experience: 2–3 years’ auditing experience in a tax environment (1–2 years at knowledge worker level)
- OR Alternative:
- Qualification: Senior Certificate (NQF 4)
- Experience: 5 years’ auditing experience in a tax environment (1–2 years at knowledge worker level)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews of disputed tax assessments.
- Draft legal submissions and assist dispute committees.
- Facilitate consultations with internal and external clients.
- Draft legal documents and simple agreements for resolution.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and internal governance standards.
- Stay updated on applicable tax and legal regulations.
- Deliver results within quality, volume, and time standards.
