Temporary Junior Materials Technician (x4)

Contract Type: 6-Months Temporary
Job Grade: Competitive Salary (aligned to NHBRC salary grades)
Reporting To: Laboratory Manager
Location: Eric Molobi, Soshanguve

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Built Environment or Geotechnical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in civil/geotechnical laboratory testing
  • Familiarity with SANS Testing Methods, ISO/IEC 17025, and SANAS requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Key Duties:

  • Collect samples and conduct site/lab tests
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment
  • Draft lab reports and ensure accurate documentation
  • Comply with all relevant safety and testing standards
  • Assist in research projects and audits
  • Record data and provide technical support

Temporary Senior Forensic Investigator

Contract Type: 12-Months Temporary
Job Grade: Competitive Salary (aligned to NHBRC salary grades)
Reporting To: Chief Risk and Compliance Officer
Location: Sunninghill

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Forensic, Risk Management, Commerce, or related Behavioural Science
  • 5+ years of experience in forensic auditing or fraud investigation
  • Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Forensic Practitioner (SA)
  • Strong experience in complex internal investigations

Key Duties:

  • Plan and manage fraud investigations
  • Develop and execute fraud prevention strategies
  • Analyse financial data for irregularities
  • Report and provide testimony in disciplinary/criminal proceedings
  • Collaborate with law enforcement (SAPS, Hawks)
  • Maintain fraud registers and implement risk mitigation
  • Support organisational compliance and internal controls
