Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- A certificate in Information Technology is an advantage
- 1–2 years of relevant experience is advantageous
- A valid driver’s licence is a strong advantage
Key Competencies:
- Understanding of IT trends and current technologies
- Knowledge of server administration and technology standards
- Basic skills in computer maintenance and repair
- Good initiative and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support across college sites
- Manage networking and system back-ups
- Maintain software and hardware infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and server issues
- Manage college email and internet services
- Ensure regular system updates and responsible IT usage
