Post Title: Engineer (Production Grade A)

Reference Number: DSAC-01/04/2025
Salary: R879 342 – R938 061 per annum (OSD package)

Requirements:

  • BEng/BSc (Eng) or equivalent degree
  • Three years post-qualification experience
  • Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with infrastructure programmes is advantageous

Duties:

  • Manage and coordinate infrastructure projects
  • Ensure project planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring
  • Liaise with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Research developments and apply new engineering solutions

Post Title: Senior Sport and Recreation Coordinator: Sport Support and Federation Coordination

Reference Number: DSAC-02/04/2025
Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 09)

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Sport Management/Sport Science or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in sport and recreation at officer level
  • Knowledge of sport bodies and federations
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Duties:

  • Coordinate funding and logistics for sport bodies
  • Monitor and evaluate sport programmes
  • Serve as a liaison between DSAC and sport federations
  • Provide both financial and non-financial support

Post Title: Senior Sport and Recreation Coordinator: Community Sport Development

Reference Number: DSAC-03/04/2025
Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 09)

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Sport Development, Sport Administration or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in community sport development
  • Understanding of sport policies and provincial sport systems
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Duties:

  • Increase participation in community sport programmes
  • Review and analyse provincial sport business plans
  • Develop and implement delivery mechanisms and policies
  • Liaise with stakeholders and monitor performance
