Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 6 qualification in:
- Financial Management
- Financial Accounting
- Taxation
- Internal Audit (as recognised by SAQA)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a payroll environment
- Knowledge of:
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Budget management
- National Treasury Regulations
Skills and Competencies:
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Budgeting and financial management
- Analytical and research skills
- Presentation and facilitation skills
- Problem-solving and team collaboration
- Strong technical proficiency and self-management
Duties and Responsibilities
- Render tax administration services
- Process salary-related claims including:
- Overtime
- Acting allowances
- Casual interpreter payments
- Housing allowances
- Long service awards
- Salary adjustments
- Handle travel and subsistence (S&T) allowance claims
- Process termination of service transactions
- Administer and reconcile suspense accounts
- Support effective people management in the finance division
