Duties
The successful candidates will perform building repairs and renovations to interior and exterior surfaces, fixtures and fittings, carpentry works and plumbing systems of municipal buildings.
Duties include repairing defects, renovating building surfaces and surroundings, completing internal transactional documents such as time sheets and job-related forms, driving municipal vehicles, cleaning vehicles, storing and cleaning tools, and adhering to health and safety regulations in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Duties include receiving instructions from the caretaker, cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool, vacuuming, sweeping and brooming, cutting and trimming lawns and verges, mopping floors, washing and disinfecting ablution units, replacing items such as toilet rolls, reporting defective items, using chemical detergents, unblocking drains and ablution units, replacing refuse bags and promoting the swimming pool to visitors.
The candidate will also execute duties according to laid down instructions and perform cleaning and store duties.
