Deputy Director: Internal Audit

Reference: 2025/04
Contract: 12-month
Salary: R896 436 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package)
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Internal Auditing
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Internal Auditing at ASD level
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of risk management, PFMA, and corporate governance
    Duties:
  • Manage and implement audit strategic plans, policies, and methodologies
  • Oversee audit execution and reporting
  • Recommend value-adding improvements
  • Evaluate internal controls and risk management systems

Assistant Director: Internal Audit

Reference: 2025/05
Contract: 12-month
Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 09) + 37% in lieu of benefits
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Internal Auditing (NQF 7)
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience
  • Proficiency in audit standards, PFMA, and risk management
    Duties:
  • Conduct performance, compliance, and consulting audits
  • Draft and present audit findings
  • Support strategic and operational planning in the audit unit
  • Follow up on audit recommendations
