Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine vessel dimensions and technical specifications for ship registration and licensing
  • Assess technical vessel plans under the guidance of the Naval Architect
  • Propose legislative improvements and draft Marine Notices and Circulars
  • Support administrative tasks, meetings, and technical documentation
  • Assist with casualty investigations requiring naval architectural analysis

Minimum Requirements:

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering with MSc in Naval Architecture or BSc in Naval Architecture
  • Registration with ECSA and/or SAIMENA preferred
  • 3–5 years’ experience in the maritime sector (advantageous)
