Key Responsibilities:
- Determine vessel dimensions and technical specifications for ship registration and licensing
- Assess technical vessel plans under the guidance of the Naval Architect
- Propose legislative improvements and draft Marine Notices and Circulars
- Support administrative tasks, meetings, and technical documentation
- Assist with casualty investigations requiring naval architectural analysis
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering with MSc in Naval Architecture or BSc in Naval Architecture
- Registration with ECSA and/or SAIMENA preferred
- 3–5 years’ experience in the maritime sector (advantageous)
