State Administration Officer to the Commissioner

  • Reference Number: SAO/COM/04/2025
  • Salary: R325 101 per annum (Level 7) plus 37% in lieu of benefits
  • Contract Duration: 4 Months Contract Appointment
  • Centre: Free State Provincial Office, Bloemfontein
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • A National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration/Management, or Human Resource Management (NQF Level 6/7).
    • At least 3 years’ experience supporting senior management.
    • Advanced computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
    • Assertive, ethical, professional, able to work independently and under pressure.
    • Valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Commissioner.
    • Manage expenditure, coordinate reports, and maintain filing systems.
    • Arrange meetings, travel, accommodation, and prepare documents.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support Provincial Office operations and Public Service Commission programmes.
