Available Positions
1. Chief Director – Veterinary Services (Ref No: REFS/022120)
Location: Johannesburg (Head Office)
Salary: R1 436 022 per annum (all-inclusive package)
Requirements:
- A recognized undergraduate qualification in Veterinary Science (NQF Level 7).
- 5 years of senior managerial experience.
- Registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).
- Successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela).
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
- Competencies in leadership, financial management, strategic planning, project management, and knowledge of relevant legislation (Animal Diseases Act, Meat Safety Act, and more).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee animal disease control, veterinary public health, and trade facilitation services.
- Manage veterinary transversal services, including epidemiology, risk analysis, and laboratory diagnostics.
- Ensure compliance with national and provincial veterinary laws.
- Provide strategic leadership in animal health and food safety.
2. Director – Supply Chain Management (Ref No: REFS/022121)
Location: Johannesburg (Head Office)
Salary: R1 216 824 per annum (all-inclusive package)
Requirements:
- Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of middle managerial experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme (Nyukela).
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
- Strong financial and procurement management skills, knowledge of PFMA and SCM regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies.
- Oversee tender evaluation and award processes.
- Ensure compliance with supply chain management policies.
