The role includes operating office equipment such as computers and photocopiers.

The candidate will provide clerical support to the senior manager.

Duties include liaising with travel agencies, making travel arrangements and checking arrangements when relevant documents are received.

The successful candidate will arrange meetings and events, identify venues, invite role players, organise refreshments and prepare schedules.

The role includes processing travel and subsistence claims and processing invoices related to the work of the senior manager.

The candidate will record basic minutes of meetings where required, draft routine correspondence and reports, do filing and administer leave registers and telephone accounts.

The successful candidate will receive, record and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.

The role includes handling procurement of standard items such as stationery and refreshments.

The candidate will collect documents needed by the Director to prepare for meetings and remain up to date with public service and departmental prescripts, policies and procedures.
