General Worker / General Assistant: Cleaning and Gardening Services

Place of Work: Mossel Bay, Great Brak River and Hartenbos

Basic Salary: R135 398.64 โ€“ R159 058.68 per annum, T3
Total Package: Approximately R221 388.34 โ€“ R252 193.49 per annum

Requirements

Applicants must have Grade 3 or AET Level 1.

Applicants must be physically strong and healthy to perform hard labour.

Applicants must be able to work with a pick, spade and other hand equipment.

Applicants must be able to load and carry weights of up to 25kg.

Applicants must have zero to one year of experience as a general worker or labourer.

Preferred Requirements

Grade 5 or AET Level 2 will be an advantage.

More than one year of experience as a general worker or labourer will be an advantage.

Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape will be an advantage.

Competencies

Required competencies include workplace safety, task accountability, quality orientation, oral communication, service delivery orientation, interpersonal relationships, communication, action orientation, resilience, accountability and ethical conduct, learning orientation, impact and influence, and team orientation.
