Internal Auditor

Requirements:

  • Degree or National Diploma in Internal Auditing / B.Com / Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Registration with the Institute of Internal Auditors (SA)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Internal audit methodologies
    • Public sector risk management
    • GRAP standards
    • National Treasury Internal Audit Framework

Duties:

  • Develop audit working papers and testing procedures
  • Perform internal audit engagements
  • Compile audit reports and present findings
  • Facilitate Combined Assurance processes
  • Supervise junior staff and maintain audit documentation

State Accountant: Budgeting

Requirements:

  • Degree or National Diploma in Financial Management / Accounting / Cost & Management Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years experience in budgeting and financial management
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of:
    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Treasury Regulations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Advanced computer literacy

Duties:

  • Compile and manage budgets for departments
  • Monitor expenditure and perform analysis
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Guide managers on budget utilisation
  • Assist with audit processes and financial compliance
