Assistant Director: Labour Relations (Ref No: CMS20/2026) (X3 Posts)
Salary: R468 459 per annum
Centre: Pretoria
Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF6) in Labour Relations or relevant qualification recognised by SAQA
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Labour Relations or related field
Knowledge:
- Disciplinary code and procedures
- Grievance procedures, mediation and arbitration
- Public service legislation and Labour Relations Act
- Programme and Project Management
Skills:
- Communication (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal and conflict resolution
- Planning, organising and coordination
- Report writing and computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Duties:
- Facilitate implementation of labour relations frameworks
- Handle misconduct and dispute cases
- Conduct investigations and compile reports
- Draft charges and represent the department in hearings and arbitrations
- Facilitate grievance resolution and provide advisory support
