Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
  • Relevant REQV 13 National Diploma backed by a professional qualification in Education
  • Registration with SACE
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant industry/teaching experience
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and strong work ethic
  • Extensive theoretical and practical subject knowledge

Key Duties

  • Deliver quality classroom teaching aligned with NCV, NATED and Occupational curricula
  • Plan, prepare and present lessons using varied teaching strategies
  • Assess, evaluate and report on learner academic progress
  • Create a positive learning environment that actively engages learners
  • Participate in academic administration, discipline and extra-curricular activities
  • Support learner development and curriculum outcomes
