Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification at NQF 7.
- Registration as a Certified Internal Auditor with 3 years’ supervisory/management experience (ASD level); or CCSA/CGAP certification.
- Knowledge of ISPPIA, National Treasury Internal Audit Framework, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act and Regulations.
- Skills: technical IA application, delegation/empowerment, planning & execution, financial control, leadership, strong verbal & written communication.
Duties:
- Manage the Internal Audit Sub-Directorate and implement the Internal Audit Plan.
- Provide assurance on governance, risk management and controls in line with ISPPIA.
- Review and implement IA methodologies, policies and procedures.
