Key Performance Areas
- Transport students for academic purposes.
- Transport employees for meetings, workshops and lecturing.
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report accidents to the Transport Officer.
- Keep accurate kilometre/log sheet records.
- Report all minor and major vehicle damages.
Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 1 / General Education and Training (Grade 9 / ABET Level 4 National Certificate).
- Relevant driver’s licence.
- EC driver’s licence (Other special requirement).
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
- Two (2) years’ relevant experience in the specified area.
Knowledge & Skills
- Current road traffic rules and regulations (public driving requirements).
- Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- Customer care and effective communication.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor on-the-spot breakdowns.
